Startup Software Engineering

My career started as a Computer Science grad and my first jobs were as a Java software engineer. Project size impacts my approach to software engineering. More established projects require more good practice designs, careful testing, ect.

Tiny startups, on the other hand, require speed and focus on delivery. Since most startups fail, it is important to get the code out there and improve it iteratively, along with the product.

I am currently looking into cloud computing and looking for projects that have to do with cloud computing and big-data focus. I am looking to do a project with Amazon's EC2 or something using Rackspace, or goGrid I believe is another cloud-based hosting company.
