One-Person Startup!

Since I started out as an engineer, and have learned the business environment over time, I can create 95% of a startup on my own, and I want to share how :)

• I don't go after big markets because I don't have the resources to fight with venture-backed companies
• I focus on niche spaces and try to solve concrete problems
• I focus on virality, helping people, SEO, SEM and communities
• I focus on product quality
• I value UX over UI design and often reuse the same html template
• I program 50% of the time and focus on marketing efforts the other 50%
• I iterate like crazy :)

I am currently working on a Hiking site with tools for hikers.
