Alex Genadinik has a B.S in Computer Science from San Jose State University.
Alex worked in start-up companies since he was 19 years old, starting as early as the late 1990s bubble. After the bubble burst, he finished his Computer Science degree and came back to work as a software engineer. After one of the companies where Alex was working was bought (Atom Entertainment by Viacom), Alex began to found his own start-ups.
His first start-up, KwalitySoftware dealt with dialog and data visualization. It led him in the direction of the Semantic Web and since then he has been working on semantic search for ecommerce.
The start-up world is very exciting for Alex and he often consults at various early-stage start-ups as a guide and an advisor. Over time, Alex has played a role either as an engineer, consultant, advisor or founder in over fifteen start-up companies.
